Py4D quick review with test animations
I downloaded this great python toolset called py4D for Cinema 4D some time ago.
This is not a full review but just a quick test.
I got very excited about py4d but still because I am not a programmer I had to test the example script with my own models. py4d has got some ready example scenes for users to try out.
After cranking with the tools I was thinking about if I could start learning to write some simple python scripts.
Py4D is also nicely put into basic Cinema 4D top menu in GUI. Very handy to use this way and it feels already integrated into Cinema 4D. What is best I´ve just read that Maxon wants to make strategic partnership with py4d now. http://ow.ly/Mozi
py4d scripts – a whole lot bunch of them
In scifi series you can often see spaceships arriving from portals. There´s an elastic object scale script
in example files. It scales object groups in a bit cartoony way. I think it´s very handy and is efficient in
short intro animations because there´s no keyframes needed to make the “plop” effect.

Py4D rock engine and Mograph 2
I tested the rock engine first with basic floor object then thought ok fine it works with that.
But I achieved a real good effect with landscape object with Mograph rigid body dynamics
added. Of course the rock object works perfectly with mograph effectors and all.
